So I gotta ask…What the fuck is up with people? Maybe I’m just getting too damn old, but I was over on the PA3 boards at imdb today, and I was in shock at the number of people who were OK with 95% of what was in the trailer NOT being in the film. It's being called a "new trend" and not bullshitting people...which is what it actually is. Now I’m not in the camp of that lady who is suing because she thought that Driver was The Fast and the Furious part 6, but I do want an honest trailer. You don’t have to give it all away, or seem to (see Dream House), but at least show me what you want me to pay for and not a bunch of stuff I won’t see until I check out the Extras when it hits DVD (see the game of chicken in the Faster [Blu-ray] trailer).

Perhaps it’s the fact that, in my opinion, not enough actually happens in a PA movie to make a trailer out of it and not give away everything? I’m not trying to hate on the franchise or those who like it, but I found the first two flicks to be some of the single most boring shit to ever “grace” my flat screen. But like Dennis Miller used to say “that’s just my opinion. I could be wrong”.
